The fox´s den
If you follow the western walking route, the one parallel to the sea, you will reach a fox’s den after a little less than 2 kilometers. You never know if a fox does live here! The den is supposed to illustrate how a fox digs its network of holes and burrows.
The four concrete pipes of various diameters that are placed next to the groyne block in the middle are supposed to indicate how a fox usually has more than one way out, so that it may get away quickly.
Our wish is that children as well as adults will play with sand in the pipes, that they will creep in and out again, hiding and seeking shelter just like a fox.
